The Party Won... Again by Bill Huff
SO WHAT! BIG DEAL! GET BACK TO WORK!
As it turns out, Obama didn't need to suspend habeas corpus and declare martial law to prevent another election. America was dumb enough to re-elect him, OR, he had all of the "necessary" help and support. In other words, it is quite correct to say he is the Chosen One. But by Whom? Stalin wouldn't have been surprised. Why are we? Oh Dear! Oh Dear! Now what do we do?
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it. The event of yesterday was one of those kind of alarms which is just sufficient to rouse us to duty, without being of consequence enough to depress our fortitude. It is not a field of a few acres of ground, but a cause, that we are defending, and whether we defeat the enemy in one battle, or by degrees, the consequences will be the same." - Thomas Paine in "American Crisis."
There are only two parties, as Jefferson so precisely stated:
1. Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers from them into the hands of the higher classes...
2. Those who identify themselves with the people, have confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise depositary of the public interests. Please review my earlier article: "We're All Party Animals."
It is so interesting to notice that Jefferson had nailed down the rhetoric of our two most recent presidential candidates as well. Of course they were both being disingenuous. Realize Obama's base dysfunctionally wanted to believe he was more like #2 and Romney's base would identify more with the elitist and/or martial tones in #1. In reality they are both elitists. When you contrast what they are saying with all it will take to get government back into its Constitutional bounds you know they must be pathological liars, brainwashed, political hacks, or ego/megalomaniacs.
They are not telling the whole truth about anything of consequence. They do not debate. They schmooze. Do we really have to wait a few years and see Romney and Obama riding off on the same golf cart to realize they were already joined at the hip?
The solution is not to be found in the electoral process. We can prove this every day as they [our entire political class] constantly violate their oaths with very few remarkable exceptions. You get a chance every two years to replace 1/3 of the Senators and all of the Representatives. But you need to be rid of most of them immediately. There are not enough voices left to force crucial issues into the media and public debate. And the media are prostituted with only a few holdouts remaining.
Those who are aware, alert, awake, and astute, the best informed among us, realize it doesn't get easier from here - until and unless we return to first principles.
Surprise, surprise, you were never supposed to be able to vote for anything that was unlawful. That is, if something was a crime for an individual it would still be unlawful even if the franchise were perverted to grant it through the auspices of "government." READ YOUR BASTIAT.

For years U.S. Representative Ron Paul has been called “Dr. No” by his detractors for consistently rejecting each and every Bill he has viewed as unconstitutional, unlawful or unwise. But after all this time that invective is seen by his supporters as a badge of honor. The Constitution and Ron Paul are becoming more familiar to Americans as Ron's wisdom enters the vernacular of Americans of all ages, sexes and conditions, who still love Liberty. Could America be ready to have a man of such character and faithfulness in the White House? Have we learned some bitter lessons? Is Liberty the Answer?
...a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason... - Thomas Paine in “Common Sense”
More than anyone else Ron Paul is defining this election cycle.
“Common-sense, Constitutional government,” didn't make as much sense to many Americans as they had their first look at Ron Paul during the 2008 campaign. But just a few wars, and a few bailouts later, and they seem to be coming around to Ron's old fashioned ideas for peaceful and economical solutions. If you listen carefully you'll hear even President Obama, noticeably adjusting his rhetoric, waxing a little more Paulish. Ron Paul's rustic, Constitutional views seemed alien. But not any more. The status quo dies hard. Just ask Galileo. But Ron Paul persists.
Ron Paul's Trillions
by Bill Huff
Remember the Richard Prior comedy, “Brewster's Millions?” Here's a brief summary:
A minor league baseball player has to waste [HE MUST HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT] $30m in 30 days in order to inherit $300m; however he's not allowed to tell anyone about the $300m deal. Source.
Please take 1 minute and 25 seconds to review the trailer above and consider Brewster as a Metaphor for Government; spending Trillions and Trillions, missing Trillions more, and asking for Trillions more, as they turn a blind eye to the Federal Reserve Banksters who continue to pilfer us. Or, worse yet, they plan the demise of our Republic with the aid and support of the Banksters, Wall Street, and the Military Industrial Complex.
How do they all get so rich on such small salaries? I bet Mr. Gingrich could explain.
As a Classical Libertarian I am less concerned about how they make their surpluses than I am about how they waste the substance of the People without Constitutional Authority. Enforce the Fundamental Law and the symptoms will be gradually dispelled. Ron Paul understands this principle. Why do you think he keeps chipping away at Behemoth?
The Power to Audit is the Power to Destroy the FED
So what happens on Day One of the FED Audit?
by William Huff
Imagine a twisted dystopic variation on It’s a Wonderful Life, where Jimmy Stewart’s character has turned all the way to the Dark Side for the FED. You will remember the scene, where, after the crash of 1929 is under way, the customers of the Bailey Brothers Building & Loan crowd into the lobby to withdraw everything they have deposited in order to get through Roosevelt’s Bank Holiday. Imagine Evil George [played by Ben Bernanke] now a “made man” for Henry F. Potter [played by Alan Greenspan] trying to pacify them:
"You're thinking of this place all wrong. As if we had the money back in a safe. The money's not here. The money is not really anywhere. And yet, in a certain sense, the money is everywhere. If something really bad happens, or if we think something bad is going to happen, we just create more. We can create money to make anything good happen any time we want. When we want less money we just destroy some. None of the rules that apply to auditing can apply here in anything but a virtual sense. We have achieved the perfect blend of Patriotism and Secrecy. We never abuse our power – and we don’t just exist to protect and support any powerful elite or anyone on Wall Street. The money we create from nothing is only used for the common good. There are no unintended consequences. Of course we cannot have other entities creating money out of nothing. That would be chaotic, and, besides, it’s against the law. Now… if you don’t want to start some sort of panic, or cause economic disruptions, you’ll just go away and act as though we were, and still are, the best command and control for the economy. Just trust us. Get all of that nonsense about the Rule of Law and the Constitution out of your heads. The Founding Fathers would have had no idea of how to run a modern country. So stop reading all of their wordy diatribes against fiat money and central banks… Now that I have explained everything you can all settle down and go back to wherever you came from, your houses, your apartments, your tenements, your homeless shelters, whatever, and go on with your life. I’m so glad we had this opportunity to clear everything up. Remember… we can get through this thing all right. We've got to stick together, though. We've got to have faith in each other. Remember what the President said: 'The only thing we have to fear is Fear Itself.' Click here for Part 2 of FDR’s Banking Holiday Pitch."
In Part 2, linked above at about 5 minutes and 30 seconds into the audio, FDR said, the “Confidence of the People” was “more important than Gold.” Think about it.
The FED must resist all penetration for as long as it possibly can. They love their power, prestige and perks. There will have to be some kicking and screaming. Even the mention of any alternative to their financial monopoly must be suppressed, and has been effectively suppressed since 1913. If you think you know something about government waste and corruption just wait until we get into the Audit of the FED. Perhaps the FED should be required to have signs like McDonald’s in front of every member bank that say “Federal Reserve Bank - Trillions and Trillions Missing.”
What’s it really like on the inside?
Gambling Away Your Liberty
by William Huff
It was not meant to be. It is not lawfully the case. But government IS a gambling enterprise. Without an accurate risk/benefit analysis you may never know how to cut your losses - when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. You might even exhibit symptoms of gambling addiction as most political partisans do. As government becomes more and more corrupt the gambling metaphor becomes more accurate and useful. If we voluntarily combine to delegate certain powers or authorities in order to protect our remaining rights, we are taking a chance on the integrity of someone else. This has not always worked out well. Power has often corrupted - and absolute power… well, you know! We have now reached the lesser of two tyrants phase with this election cycle. What a crapshoot!
